Final Year planned

Dates for paper submissions, topics for new papers, workshop schedules and a research “retreat” are the outcomes of the latest Wheel of Water planning meeting held at Aqualinc Research Ltd. yesterday. With just a year left to go on the research project, the emphasis has moved from gathering to disseminating all the new knowledge that the research has uncovered. At least six different papers are planned over the next year plus a large report which encapsulates all of the good work carried out with the Takaka and Ruamahanga case studies. In addition, targeted presentations/workshops are to be carried out to let interested groups hear first hand the Wheel of Water experiences regarding collaborative water allocation.
